Barbecue Pork

Put this recipe at the top of your list. It is a good camping food recipe for small and large groups of people in your camping group. This recipe is actually quite easy to prepare. You will need:

1 lb.pork tenderloin
2 tablespoons honey
3 tablespoons light soy sauce
2 tablespoons Hoisin sauce
2 tablespoons ketchup,
1 teaspoon dark soy sauce
1 tablespoon Sherry
1 clove garlic, and
1 tablespoon sugar.

The best way to prepare the meat is to trim off the fat, and cut it into strips. Next, combine all the remaining ingredients on the list into a mixing bowl and pour it over the pork. Let the meat marinate in the solution for at least two hours. Next, skewer the pork strips. Hang them on the upper oven rack over a roasting pan with a shallow layer of water.

Set the oven at 425ºF and roast it for 20 minutes. Baste every five minutes with a baster to keep the meat tender. After 20 minutes, reduce the heat and keep roasting the meat for only a couple of minutes longer. Remove the meat and cut diagonally against the grain. Let it cool down and serve cold. Serve it with Chinese mustard and sesame seeds to add variety and a little bit of flare.

Preheat the oven, and in a medium bowl combine a cup of butter, 1/3 cup of white sugar, 3 cups of graham cracker crumbs. Then sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture on top of that and press down with a spatula.
